Purple Base

Purple Base is a desktop video game developed by Valentino Giudice.

This repository also contains a copy of 4 tracks from the Above the Clouds album by by Purrple Cat, see below.

Purple Base is written in Python 3.13. The only dependency is pyglet. OpenGL 3.3+ is required.

Images  have been made and can be modified with Pixelorama.

The game can be bundled using PyInstaller.

Third-party assets

This game incorporates sounds from the Interface Sounds collection by Kenney and the Bore Blasters 16 font by Not Jam, both of which are available under the CC0 public domain dedication.

Above the Clouds

This repository includes 4 tracks from the Above the Clouds album by Purrple Cat, available under the CC BY-SA 3.0 license, in the music folder.

These tracks are not part of the game, but are distributed alongside with it. The game plays these tracks based on their name. If a track is not available, Natural Vibes by Kevin MacLeod, available under the CC0 public domain dedication on FreePD.com, is used as a fallback track.

License

Purple Base is released under the MIT license. Drawings are additionally licensed under the CC BY 4.0 license.

All tracks in the Above the Clouds album are available under the CC BY-SA 3.0 license.
